Garden Route, the coastal corridor that runs from the Western Cape to the Eastern Cape. This 800-kilometre stretch of untouched pristine coastline includes towns such as Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Natures Valley, Oudtshoorn and George. Take time to explore the most beautiful scenery on offer, endless beaches, dunes, estuaries, lakes, or the southern Drakensberg mountain range. The region has diverse climates, ranging from lush forests to the dry Karoo, and for this reason, there is so much to tick off the bucket list. Tiffendell, South Africa’s only snow skiing resort, National Arts Festival, the Wild Coast, Addo Elephant National Park home to approximately 170 elephants, 400 Cape buffalo and black rhino, or perhaps a lodge to view the big five!

The Eastern Cape is where the Garden Route comes to an end, but do not feel disappointed, it is one of South Africa’s most underdeveloped provinces and therefore you can enjoy the unspoilt natural and authentic region it is.
